The center was facing closure due to financial difficulties but has received financial help from an anonymous donor. Residents like Miesha Penn tell WDBJ they are relieved that they won't have to find a new pediatrician for their children. Physician Assistant Laura Rowles is grateful to continue treating patients and says the center hopes to expand services to include mental health care. Dr. David Seamon says the group also took out a loan to address their debt. The center plans to stay open for the foreseeable future, providing essential healthcare services to the community.
