(Chesapeake, VA) -- There's good news for people wanting to buy Christmas trees this year in Virginia. Rocio Rivera has details.Preview: While the effects of Hurricane Helene's devastation in North Carolina has affected some of the supply, sellers in Virginia say they're still able to offer trees at moderate prices. North Carolina is the number two harvester of Christmas trees nationally, ranking second behind Oregon. And while some tree sellers in Virginia say their supply this year has been affected, most say they will offer plenty of trees at average costs. The Virginia Department of Forestry says the state generates more than $11 million dollars in revenue from Christmas trees. I'm RR.
