It will still be a little time before the winner of a Virginia congressional race is determined.
Scott Kimbler reports...Preview: State Senator John McGuire is ahead by 300 votes according to preliminary results, but incumbent Congressman Bob Good is not going down easily in a fight to maintain the 5th District seat.
ABC13 reports the race is very close and the Virginia Department of Elections set a Tuesday deadline for counties to have the votes in. Now with the deadline passed, it will be another week before the results can be certified.
Good has said he will demand a recount if McGuire is declared the winner of the primary election.
