The Suffolk Police Department plans to launch a new community engagement tool called My90, which aims to collect feedback from residents following calls for service. The tool, developed by Axon, will send citizens an online survey via text messages to anonymously provide feedback on the quality of service received. Police Chief James “Danny” Buie tells 13NewsNow he hopes to build trust and relationships with the community through this technology. The My90 system is scheduled to launch on August 8th.
