The Portsmouth Department of Economic Development is hosting three community events in August in partnership with Portsmouth@Work and the Portsmouth Police Department. The events will take place in Dale Homes, Southside, and London Oaks on the first three Wednesdays of August from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. WAVY reports attendees can learn about valuable community resources, apply for employment opportunities, receive school supplies, participated in family fun activities and games, and experience the Portsmouth Police Department Command Bus.
