Democrats in the Virginia House of Delegates are moving forward with measures that could eventually change the state's constitution.
Richard Stelling reports...Preview: The House passed a resolution yesterday that would protect the right to an abortion in a 51-49 party-line vote. The chamber also passed resolutions to change the process of restoring voting rights to convicted felons and protect marriage equality. The resolutions are not subject to a veto by the governor. Any resolution to change the state constitution has to pass two years in a row before it can be put on the statewide ballot for voter approval.
