The City of Hampton says it will offer cooling stations for people who need to get out of the summer heat until Wednesday. The city's libraries will remain open until 7 p.m. each day, community centers will operate until 8 p.m. and neighborhood centers will close at 6 p.m. In Portsmouth, its libraries, City Hall lobby, and the city’s health services buildings will also remain open to the public through Wednesday. With feels-like temperatures expected to reach the triple digits, yet again, officials are urging people to stay out of direct sun and stay hydrated.
