The Justice Department announced yesterday two active-duty soldiers at Fort Gregg-Adams pled guilty to obtaining fraudulent loans three years ago through the Payment Protection Program. Major Eduwell Jenkins pled guilty yesterday after Sergeant Malaysia Stubbs pled guilty last month. Meanwhile, Sergeant First Class Crispin Abad was indicted yesterday on similar charges. The 42-year-old Jenkins and 30-year-old Stubbs will be sentenced in March. They could each get up to five years in prison.
