Members of the House and Senate rushed to take final votes yesterday so their bills could be moved to the other chamber for further action. Among the measures passed yesterday were a framework to establish retail sales of recreational marijuana, a bill to ban the sale of new assault weapons and a proposal to establish a statewide paid family leave program. This year's session is scheduled to adjourn on February 22nd.
