(Richmond, VA) -- Virginia's Secretary of Public Safety and Homeland Security has been tapped to lead the DEA. Rocio Rivera has details.Preview: President Trump has appointed Terry Cole to lead the Drug Enforcement Agency. Trump made the announcement yesterday online and listed several of Cole's past duties with the state of Virginia and the DEA. Governor Youngkin also congratulated Cole on an outstanding job keeping Virginians safe, and fighting fentanyl and human trafficking. Cole previously served as the Chief of Staff and Executive Officer for several different departments. He leads the DEA with 22 years of experience with the agency under his belt.
