DMV Commissioner Dr. Gerald Lackey was there this weekend when the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles partnered with the Colonial Rod Club to mark its 100th anniversary with a classic car show. The event, titled "Through the Decades: DMV Classic Car Show," showcased vintage and modern vehicles at the DMV headquarters in Richmond.Preview: Lackey tells CBS 6 proceeds from the show supported Make-A-Wish Greater Virginia, which has granted nearly 6,000 wishes for children with critical illnesses in the state since 1987. Additional details about another car show in Covington and a truck show in Colonial Heights will be announced in the coming months.
