The DOJ filed a motion in federal court in Alexandria on Wednesday asking for a quick decision on a preliminary injunction. The motion says the judge doesn't need to hold oral arguments before making a decision on the injunction. The Justice Department has accused Virginia of violating the National Voter Registration Act by trying to remove people from state voter rolls within 90 days of the November election.
