AskDave.com analyzed data from the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration from 2018 to 2022 and found drivers that were under the influence during deadly crashes rose more than 44% than previous years. DMV info reports more than 14-thousand people were convicted of DUIs in Virginia in 2022. A AAA spokesperson tells WAVY the upward trend in DUIs is going the wrong way.
