A daycare worker in Chesapeake faces multiple charges after two infants were injured during diaper changes at La Petite Academy. 19 year old, Carolyn Tinkey was arrested and charged with child cruelty, child abuse, and assault and battery, among other charges. One infant required surgery for injuries sustained during a diaper change. Tinkey admitted to potentially causing the injuries while changing the infants' diapers. 10 On Your side reports that the incidents occurred in September and November, and Tinkey has been cooperative with detectives.
