(Alexandria, VA) -- It's two years behind bars for a Warrenton woman convicted of stealing more than a million-bucks from dozens of Virginia homeowners associations.

Sixty-year-old Rose Bailey was sentenced last week for siphoning cash from more than 70 HOAs that were customers of the Rosewood Management and Consulting Services company she operated. She collected dues from residents in communities across the commonwealth, including ones in Falls Church, Reston, Leesburg and Lorton, using the cash from each like a Ponzi scheme to cover her tracks. She spent the money she pilfered on personal expenses.
