Early voting was put in place in 2020 in order to help with COVID-19 restrictions. Danville Registrar Peggy Petty says that it's hard to predict exactly how many voters will take advantage of the opportunity this year since we are not in the midst of COVID this time.Preview: She tells WSET she guesses around 10 to 20 percent of voters will come to the polls early. Petty adds that election workers are also already planning to send out around 14-hundred absentee ballots starting Friday.
