(Richmond, VA) -- People in Richmond got a chance to learn more about Egyptian culture over the weekend during the the 5th annual Egyptian Festival. Event organizer Asraf Gorgey says the goal is to share experiences with others and not isolate from the rest of the city.Preview: CBS6 reports participants to the three-day event got to eat traditional Egyptian food, shop with local vendors, enjoy live music, and tour the St. George & St. Philopater Coptic Church. All proceeds from the event benefited the church.
