The U.S. Energy Information Administration predicts record power demand in 2025 and 2026 due to factors like AI data centers and cryptocurrency technologies. Dominion's Virginia and South Carolina segments saw significant increases in operating earnings. The company's Virginia utility services the world's largest data center cluster, helping mitigate tariff impacts. 13 News Now reports that despite a 16.4% decrease in interest expenses, Dominion's revenue of over $4-billion exceeded analysts' estimates. Shares of the company rose 1.4% in Thursday's afternoon trading.
