>>Public Comment Meeting to be Held July 25th for New Entertainment Venue in Roanoke
(Roanoke, VA) -- There could be a new option for entertainment in the Roanoke Valley next year. Scott Kimbler has more.
Voicer Script:Preview: Mitchell Tyler, co-owner of 540 Social, says the plan is to build a new restaurant and entertainment center, set to open in 2025. The venue will offer a variety of activities for all ages, including arcade games, pickleball, bowling, darts, and axe throwing. Additionally, a championship-style mini golf course and a restaurant are part of the plans, with a venue for group events accommodating up to 300 people. WDBJ reports the development may include a turning lane to address traffic concerns, and a public hearing is scheduled for July 25th for further discussion and approval by the Roanoke County Board of Supervisors.
