A variety of festive and educational programs will be available from late September to early November to celebrate the fall season. Activities include harvest celebrations, trunk-or-treat events, and special tailgates at Hungry Mother State Park on National Public Lands Day. Other events hosted at Virginia's State Parks include the Grayson Highlands Fall Festival, Harvest Celebration at Foster Falls, and Martin’s Station Fall Encampment at Wilderness Road State Park. All programs are free and open to the public, offering a fun way to enjoy the fall foliage and outdoor activities.
