>>Some Parts of Virginia Reach Peak Fall Foliage Color
(undated) -- Some parts of Virginia have reached peak fall foliage color. Rocio Rivera reports.Preview: Fall color is alive and in full bloom in parts of Virginia. Officials with the Virginia Department of Forestry say areas bordering West Virginia and in the southwest of the state are already seeing peak foliage conditions. But damage from Hurricane Helene are still impacting several roads, like the Blue Ridge Parkway, which are stopping people from road trips to see the colors. Trees in other parts of Virginia, like in the north, are still green, meaning they'll probably change later in the season. The first week of November, which is right around the corner, is when most trees will really develop their color. I'm RR.
