Court documents show Marlon Jones Jr., an Assistant Director at a residential reentry center in Newport News, is facing federal charges for accepting a bribe and criminal forfeiture. The charges stem from alleged incidents dating back to September 2021, where Jones is accused of seeking personal gain in exchange for neglecting his official duties. If convicted, 10 On Your Side reports Jones may have to forfeit any property obtained through the bribes. The investigation is ongoing.
