Officials say Christopher Digges, of Chesapeake, was sentenced in Norfolk for using financial leverage to sexually abuse a child in 2021. Digges moved in with a struggling woman and her child, engaging in sexual conduct with the child and coercing her to produce Child Sexual Abuse Material. Wavy reports he bought a residence for the family that same year and used it to manipulate the child, threatening her and physically abusing her. Digges was sentenced to 29 years in prison for coercion and enticement of a minor, with the government recovering over $169,000 from the sale of the residence.
