The fire at Courtland Farm Manor Inn near Aldie was reported on Saturday morning. Firefighters were able to bring the fire at the historic rural home under control in about 90 minutes. A member of the inn's staff and a firefighter were taken to a hospital for evaluation and released. The fire marshal determined that the fire started accidentally and was caused by a combustible liquid being stored near a heat source. Damage to the property was estimated at two-point-eight-million dollars.
