(Thaxton, VA) -- A Virginia motorist is recovering after three Appalachian Power workers had to rescue him from flood waters in Thaxton. Thomas Cage with more.

The vehicle flipped back over and lodged between two trees. Cameron, jumped into the fast-moving waters to reach the driver, who was grabbing onto a tree limb.

Dotson says the trio successfully rescued the driver and all were treated for hypothermia at the hospital.
