(Richmond, VA) -- A Richmond theater has reason to celebrate. Katie Gray explains.Preview: Voicer Script:
The Virginia Repertory Theater on West Broad Street announced on Monday it has reached its fundraising goal. Officials announced a few weeks ago they needed 600-thousand dollars to stay open, and in just eleven days, they succeeded. Over 13-hundred donors contributed, and over 70 percent were first-time donors. Managing Director Klaus Schuller says raising funds is hard work, and we don't take this gift lightly. He also tells 12 On Your Side we need to rebuild the theater from the ground up and reimagine ourselves.
