Richmond Animal Care and Control is seeking someone to adopt a herd of five sheep and four goats that were rescued from an unsafe situation in New Kent County. The animals, including a lamb and her mom, have been nursed back to health by RACC staff. The sheep were bred for leather and meat, not wool, and were living in poor conditions. RACC is looking for a home where the animals can stay together and be cared for by someone with experience and land. WRIC reports one of the goats, Vincent Van Goat, has already been adopted.
