President Biden and former President Trump announced an agreement yesterday to hold a debate next month and again in September. That decision will scuttle plans for three presidential debates this fall, including an October 1st meeting at the Petersburg school. Senator Tim Kaine and Attorney General Jason Miyares also voiced disappointment, saying the VSU debate should go forward as planned. It would have been the first presidential debate ever held at a historically Black college or university.
