(Richmond, VA) -- Three medical centers in the Richmond area have shut down citing unforeseen circumstances. Rocio Rivera explains.Preview: Three of Capital Area Health Network medical centers have shutdown as of this week. The network released a statement saying due to unforeseen federal restrictions under the new Presidential administration, they were forced to consolidate. They listed patients seen at Bermuda Medical Center, Southside Medical, and Greater Fulton will now be moved to three other medical centers in Richmond. Neighborhood Resource Center, a non-profit that works with those facilities tells WRIC the shutdowns will be devastating to hundreds of people who are disabled or have no means of transportation.
