(Undated) -- The extreme summer heat is continuing to impact Virginians who are trying to enjoy their holiday weekend. Madison Roberts has tips on how to stay cool.Preview: For the second day in a row, the National Weather Service says a Heat Advisory will affect portions of central and northern Virginia between noon and 8pm today. Feels-like temperatures are expected to reach up to 107 degrees by the afternoon. With the combination of high humidity, forecasters say there will be an increased risk of heat-related illnesses. While Henrico County is not in the affected area, temperatures will be hot around the state. The county is suggesting people take advantage of their local recreation facilities and libraries to cool off. People can also dial 2-1-1 for assistance and referrals to cooling centers.
