Federal authorities arrested Brad Spafford two weeks ago in Smithfield, about 30 miles outside of Norfolk. In his home, the FBI found over 150 homemade explosives, some of which were marked as "lethal," along with an unregistered rifle. Police now say Spafford is associated with the "no lives matter" movement, which promotes mass killings and targeted attacks. Spafford also used images of President Biden for target practice, and "expressed support for political assassinations." He remains in custody as authorities investigate.
