(Virginia Beach, VA) -- A new school in the Commonwealth could bring help to students struggling with addiction. Rocio Rivera has more on the new possible hybrid learning model.Preview: The Harbor Hope Center would combine your typical high school environment with counseling and resources for teen addicts. State leaders have already approved nearly $1.5 million for proposed recovery schools in Hampton Roads and Loudoun County. Right now, there's only one recovery school operating in the state of Virginia. The new school would lean on virtual learning combined with recovery specialists that understand adolescence and teenage brains. It would use the Great Bridge Middle School campus in Chesapeake and have around two dozen students. The school board will vote on the school Jan. 28th and hope to have it up and running by this summer. I'm RR.
