The James River Association will host the first-ever EcoFest event this Saturday from 1 to 6 p.m. at the James A. Buzzard River Education Center in Richmond. The free event will feature activities such as paddle tours, education boat trips, a rain barrel workshop, and tree giveaways. Attendees can explore the new center, which opened in July, and learn more about the local ecology and watershed. Non-profit organizations will also be present at the event.
