(sound offtop)Preview: Richmond Mayor Levar Stoney says he knows Governor Glenn Youngkin is trying to address many of the state's infrastructure problems and he hopes lawmakers will agree to help fund the $650 million dollar repairs from the state's tax revenue funds. CBS6 reports state health officials say they were notified of the sewage leak July 16th and issued the swim advisory the next day. The Richmond Times-Dispatch reported the sewage leak started July 2nd with the city notifying the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality within 24 hours. DEQ blames the delay in notifying VDH on the crowdstrike outage that, for most people, happened July 19th. Richmond officials say staff are working to temporarily fix the problem.
