Rocio Rivera explains.Preview: The University of Virginia Weldon Cooper Center released their economic forecast and it's not good. They're projecting Virginia will lose more than 30-thousand jobs this year. The center says that will bring the regions unemployment close to 5-percent. The executive director of the center says Virginia is starting to see the impact of federal downsizing. Inflation is picking up, and economists say that's due to one reason, tariffs. But the Cooper Center says job losses this year are not yet on 2009 levels, when Virginia lost close to 150-thousand jobs. The next economic forecast will be out this summer. I'm RR.
