The event in Virginia Beach is a part of his "Virginia Has Jobs" tour to celebrate Virginia's workforce and promote open jobs in the Hampton Roads area. The initiative, announced last month, aims to provide job resources for the state, including support for impacted federal workers. Youngkin highlighted Virginia's strong labor market, with nonfarm payroll employment increasing by 7,100 jobs in January and a low unemployment rate of 3%. 13 News Now reports that the governor emphasized the success of pro-business policies and workforce development efforts in providing opportunities for Virginians to succeed.
