Students and staff at Covington Middle School began complaining of headaches and other problems during the current school year. The school was shut down after dozens fell ill in late January. Officials blamed a carbon monoxide leak and reopened the school over the objections of concerned parents. The judge decided yesterday that he would not grant an injunction to close the school as part of an ongoing lawsuit.
