The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers says all debris affecting Claytor Lake has been removed, making it safe and accessible for the community. Debris from Hurricane Helene filled the lake last September. The Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation says normal operations will now resume at the lake, though some repairs on boat ramps and parking lots are still needed.
