The General Assembly will reconvene to consider action taken by Governor Youngkin since the legislature adjourned in February. Lawmakers are unlikely to overturn any of the governor's vetoes since Democrats only hold a narrow majority in both chambers. They will have more input on more than 200 budget amendments and nearly 160 bill amendments suggested by the governor. Lawmakers can adopt the amendments or reject them and return the original bill to the governor's desk.
