The city announced yesterday it recently launched an Equity Zone Program that reduces transportation fees for those in five neighborhoods. The equity zone neighborhoods are Fairfield Court, Gilpin Court, Hillside Court, Mosby Court and Whitcomb Court. Residents in those neighborhoods can get a 50 percent discount on all scooter rides. Richmond says this is part of its partnership with its micro-mobility vendors to increase accessibility and reduce transportation barriers in underserved neighborhoods.
