Governor Younking is urging the state Senate to take action on a measure passed by the House of Delegates late last week. The House voted unanimously on Friday to repeal eligibility changes made to the Virginia Military Survivors and Dependents Education Program. Youngkin issued a statement supporting the repeal and demanding action from the Senate, saying he would sign the changes into law immediately. The Senate is set to return to Richmond today, though it is not clear if lawmakers intend to take up the bill passed by the House.
