The General Assembly met yesterday and agreed to restore the original guidelines for the Virginia Military Survivors and Dependents Education Program. Lawmakers also agreed to spend 90-million dollars over the next two years to fund the program. Governor Glenn Youngkin quickly signed the bill and issued a statement saying Virginia will always honor those who have served the nation and the Commonwealth.
