The governor issued vetoes killing a group of Democratic Party priorities passed during this year's General Assembly session. Yougkin also vetoed a measure requiring paid sick leave for Virginia workers and another that would have created a state drug affordability board. None of the vetoes are likely to be overturned since Democrats only hold a narrow majority of the seats in the House and Senate.
