Authorities say Heather Cummings was found guilty of 2nd-degree murder in the death of her 81-year-old mother at a Norfolk nursing home. She entered a plea deal, pleading no contest to the charge. The sentencing is scheduled for June 27. WAVY reports that Court documents revealed that Heather and her son, Clifton Cummings, were involved in the murder of Cleo Loizides. The investigation began when police responded to a report of an unresponsive patient at the senior living home, leading to charges after the medical examiner ruled the death a homicide.
