Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin issued an executive order removing around 63 hundred noncitizens who may have accidentally or intentionally attempted to register to vote. Youngkin said the move was not meant to suggest there is widespread voter fraud, but did say he believes American elections should be decided by American citizens. NBC News reports that the order didn’t specify whether or not any of those removed from the system were noncitizens who voted, or if due to an error were actual citizens.
