The Norovirus, more commonly know as the stomach flu, is warned to be a highly contagious virus which is surging across the country and the Commonwealth. Doctors tell WHSV most people with the infection can begin feeling better after one to three days, but can actually still be contagious days after symptoms ease. To prevent spreading the ilnees, Health providers recommend washing your hands often, and to stay home 48 hours after symtptoms have subsided to play it safe.
