Loudoun County will suspend notifying homebuyers who aren't first owners of new properties about airport noise due to a new Virginia law. The law, effective July 1, prohibits mandatory disclosures on airport noise for previously owned properties. The county's Airport Impact Overlay District, which identifies properties affected by airport noise, will still require notifications for first owners of new properties. Loudoun County plans to work with the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority to seek a legislative change in the 2025 Virginia General Assembly session to allow notifications to subsequent owners again.
McDonald's five-dollar meal is back today. McDonald's USA President Joe Erlinger said they heard their fans loud and clear when it came to inflation and skyrocketing prices for fast food restaurants. Erlinger said the five-dollar meal promotion will runs for four-weeks. The meal will include four items: a choice of a McDouble or McChicken, a small order of fries, a four-piece order of chicken nuggets and a small drink.
