The bill authorizing the acquisition of the 1,200-acre historic property received unanimous support from a subcommittee. Loudoun Now dot com reports the project aims to open the historic manor house to the public and provide outdoor recreation opportunities. The property has historical significance and plans are underway to establish an endowment for operational costs. The acquisition bill will now move to the full committee for further review.
