Commonwealth's First Lady Suzanne Youngkin is joining forces with New Jersey's first spouse Tammy Murphy for a campaign to increase awareness on the dangers of synthetic opioids. Youngkin made the announcement yesterday (Wednesday) on National Fentanyl Prevention and Awareness Day. She says five Virginians die every day from a fentanyl overdose, which is why she is committed to educating every American on the issue. The It Only Takes One campaign highlights the risks of using opioids, while providing potential solutions. Youngkin says this effort will bring together a majority of the nation's first spouses with Virignia's influencers and sports teams.
