(Ashburn, VA) -- A Virginia woman has been charged for embezzling thousands of dollars from an elementary school PTO. Rocio Rivera has details.Preview: Loudoun County police say 43-year-old Kimberly Medina allegedly stole more than $83-thousand dollars from the Moorefield Station Elementary School PTO. They say she used the money for her own personal use. They say the theft occured form February to September of 2023. The principal of the school and the PTO removed Medina from her president post after finding out about the theft in December of last year. Police say no other parents were involved in the alleged embezzlement. Medina has been released from jail after turning herself in last week. I'm RR.
